In an Observe group nobody sees you until the owner reveals you and you agree. Hide my location stops you sharing at any time, and activity areas stop sharing outside zones the owner sets.
Set an encryption key in Setup and devices that share the key exchange encrypted data on a local network. Connections to the Mission Pro server are encrypted in transit. Export your data as a ZIP protected by a four-digit PIN, or turn on cloud backups with an email sign-in. You can switch crash reports off.
